Author Responsibilities And Ethical Guidelines


1.Author Responsibilities

·       Authors are responsible for the scientific content and accuracy of the manuscripts they submit to the journal. Integrity, transparency, and adherence to academic ethical standards must be maintained at every stage of the research.

·       All listed authors must have made genuine contributions to the work. Author order should reflect the level of contribution and must be approved by all co-authors.

·       Submitted manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

·       Research methods, findings, and results should be reported completely, objectively, and accurately. Fabrication of data, deliberate misrepresentation, or inclusion of misleading information is strictly prohibited.

-Research Ethics

·       Ethical approval must be obtained for studies involving human or animal subjects, and this must be clearly stated in the manuscript.

·       Studies involving interviews, surveys, or experiments must be conducted in a manner that respects participants’ rights to privacy and adheres to ethical standards.

·       Authors must clearly identify the data sources used in the manuscript and respect the intellectual property rights of others.

-Integrity and Transparency

·       All sources used in the study must be properly cited and fully listed in the references section; furthermore, misleading citations or omissions must be avoided.

·       Throughout the publication process, authors are expected to cooperate with the editors and assume responsibility for revising or updating their work when necessary.

·       If a published article is later found to contain errors or omissions, authors are expected to contact the editorial team to support correction or retraction procedures.

-Plagiarism and Publication Ethics Policy

·       All manuscripts submitted to the journal must undergo a plagiarism check using Turnitin, CrossCheck by iThenticate, or similar software.

·       Plagiarism, data fabrication, data manipulation, or the use of another work’s content without proper attribution is strictly prohibited.

·       IQR Journal of Applied Statistics in Social Sciences adheres to the ethical standards set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

2. Open Access and Copyright Policy

  • IQR Journal of Applied Statistics in Social Sciences is an open-access journal. Published articles are freely available for everyone to read, download, and access without any charges.
  • After publication, authors may share and distribute their articles, provided proper citation is given.
  • Under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), users may use, distribute, and republish the articles for non-commercial purposes.
  • Upon publication, authors are deemed to have transferred the copyright of their work to the journal.
