1-Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts must be submitted along with a Plagiarism Report generated using Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools. The similarity rate must not exceed 15%. References may be excluded from the similarity calculation. Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold will be desk-rejected and returned to the author without entering the peer review process.
2-Pre-Review
In the preliminary review conducted by the editors, manuscripts are evaluated for compliance with submission guidelines, editorial policies, and scientific content. If issues are identified, the manuscript is returned to the author for revision. Submissions that do not meet the formatting or scientific criteria will not be forwarded for peer review.
3-Peer Review Process and Evaluation Criteria
Manuscripts that pass the pre-review are sent to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind peer review process. The identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:
Scientific quality and originality of the study
Consistency between the title and content
Coherence of research methodology and data analysis
Relevance and currency of sources used
Compliance with academic writing and language standards
4-Review Deadlines and Revisions
Reviewers are given 30 days to complete their evaluations. If a reviewer fails to submit feedback within the timeframe, a replacement reviewer may be assigned. If revisions are requested, the author must upload the revised version within the specified deadline. Should the reviewer request to review the revised manuscript again, the article will re-enter the review cycle.
5-Final Decision and Publication Process
Manuscripts that receive positive reports from two reviewers are accepted for publication. In the case of one positive and one negative review, the manuscript is referred to a third reviewer for a final decision. After the peer review process is completed, a final evaluation is conducted by the editors, and articles deemed suitable for publication are published in the IQR Journal.
6-Objection and Re-evaluation Process
Authors may object to reviewer reports by providing scientifically grounded justifications. Such objections are reviewed by the editors, and if deemed appropriate, the manuscript may be forwarded to a different reviewer for re-evaluation.
7-Process Tracking
Authors can monitor the status of their submissions through the journal’s online system. Since the peer review process is conducted meticulously, any updates occur within the specified timeframes indicated in the system.
8-APC and Fee Policy
IQR Journal does not charge any fees for the evaluation or publication of manuscripts.
9-Copyright and Citation Policy
All articles published in the journal may be used, shared, or referenced as long as proper citation is given to the IQR Journal as the original source. Legal action may be initiated in cases of plagiarism or use without proper attribution. The copyright of published articles belongs to IQR Journal, and in necessary cases, the editors may request authors to sign a copyright transfer agreement.
