General Publication And Ethical Principles


1.IQR Journal of Applied Statistics in Social Science (IQR Journal) is an international, peer-reviewed, and indexed e-journal published regularly according to a designated schedule.

2.Manuscripts submitted to the journal must meet criteria for scientific originality, methodological rigor, and academic contribution. Even after peer review, the final decision on publication rests with the editorial board.

3.IQR Journal, focuses on original research containing statistical methods and quantitative analyses in social sciences. Conference or symposium papers may be considered if they have not been previously published.

4.Submissions must not be under review by another publication and must not have been previously published elsewhere.

5.Authors are required to submit a Plagiarism Report with their manuscripts. All publication processes are conducted electronically.

6. Content generated using artificial intelligence (AI) tools must be clearly disclosed, and such tools must not be listed as authors. AI tools may be used as assistive technologies only; the decision-making process, interpretation, and original contributions must come from the human author(s).

7.Upon acceptance, the copyrights of the articles are transferred to the journal and may not be published or reproduced elsewhere without permission.

8.All legal, ethical, and academic responsibilities arising from the manuscript belong to the author(s); the journal bears no liability in this regard.

9.The journal accepts articles in Turkish and English. Submissions in other languages may be considered upon editorial board decision.

10.Authors may withdraw their manuscripts before publication; however, withdrawal requests for published articles will not be accepted.
